America we care!

Thank you for your generosity and opportunity given to us

People of Indian origin who migrated to US are doing a phenomenal job. Whether they are working in software industry or having own motel or a sandwich shop , we have come a long way. We all know it is result of our intelligence, hard work and to a large extent our luck helped us to get where we are today. We acted miser, spent countless hours in finding deals and saved every penny we can. We forgot one important thing in the process. We owe something to this country which gave us a better life and where our children are growing. Think of Others is a federal 501(3)(c ) charitable organization (FEIN 27-3012333) formed to raise money for other non for profit organizations. Donation to the organization are tax deductible to US tax payers from  US federal income taxes, as permitted by the law.

Let us show to America we are here not just to enjoy fruits of developments but we do care for all the pain and sufferings.

“$ 1 per day donation makes no difference in my life but it will in someone’s”

Our mission

We would like to raise money for other not for profit organizations involved in charity work dealing with social and economic issues we are facing today. Up to 25% of the money raised will be distributed to charity work in India. We believe if we can help America become a great nation, it will help the whole world since so many still look towards America as a big brother and as an example.

“Every time I spent lavishly on a party, birthday, wedding or anniversaries, I donate some”

Our Promise

Donor trust is most important element in running a not for profit company. We would like to assure you that every penny you donate will be spend on a good cause and we will always adhere to our core values.

We will practice good stewardship of all donations, will act with honesty and integrity in our dealings and express gratitude to all those who help our efforts.

“I do not and should not mind giving since I got all this what I have, luckily any way”

Get Involved

You can be a cash donor or just volunteer. There are many ways you can get involved. You can devote few hours each week to help in our various fundraising activities, creating publicity materials, running a small campaign among your friends.

We are also looking for volunteers from schools and colleges (at least 14 years old) to run our various campaigns on social networks. Just get in touch.

Desi giving to Charity?

There are many Indian Americans who have donated to Charity. We are so proud of them. We have seen big charitable donations to temples. We take pride in raising donations for various causes in India. But many of us simply do not care about problems facing America. We hardly see any Desi supporting tornado or flood victims or supporting local causes in our communities. Let us think about it and do something where our children are growing.

Why it is so difficult to convince a Desi to donate?

Since migrating to America we have become misers. Even if we have fully paid house, cars, good retirement savings, rental properties, we still do not give anything to charity. Why we have become so self-centered? It makes lot of sense to take care of environment around us. Let us do something to improve lives of other people around us.
