America gave us better life and it is my duty now to do something for this great country.

How our life has changed?

From one bedroom apartment in crowded city
To beautiful five bedroom house
From crowded unsafe rickshaw to school
To specious school bus
From the crowded class with just benches
To a school equiped with computers & books
From chaotic traffic
To smooth highways
From carrying whole family on scooter
To getting Lexus or Camry
From a grocery shop in our village
To a grocery store selling goods from all over the world
From crowded trains
To beautiful cities

Desi giving to Charity?

There are many Indian Americans who have donated to Charity. We are so proud of them. We have seen big charitable donations to temples. We take pride in raising donations for various causes in India. But many of us simply do not care about problems facing America. We hardly see any Desi supporting tornado or flood victims or supporting local causes in our communities. Let us think about it and do something where our children are growing.
